Notice even the smallest change in someone? Then be sure you are there for them.

Is a friend or acquaintance acting a little different?

Is a friend or acquaintance acting a little different?

It could be a sign that they have a problem that they are afraid to share with someone.

Maybe they feel they can’t talk about their suffering.
Maybe they’re in pain but don’t know what to do.

Inside, they may be crying for help.
The first step is to acknowledge this and be there for them.

Connect with those in distress or suffering.

Start off by doing what you can.

  • Ask them how they’re feeling recently.
  • Text them via social media.
  • Recommend your favorite music to them.
  • Take a walk with them.
  • Share a delicious meal with them.

Direct those in distress or suffering to a helpline.

Sometimes, there’s nothing you can do.

Refer them to experts.

Tell them there’s a place where they can talk about their problems.
